Get ready for another seven days of burger love! Santa Cruz Restaurant Week and Good Times are pleased to announce Santa Cruz Burger Week, returning for a third year as only Santa Cruz can do it. This sister event of Santa Cruz Restaurant Week, the city’s annual fine dining event for 10 years running, continues to grow with new participants each year.

Santa Cruz Burger Week spans seven nights from February 20-26, 2019 and is modeled after other popular Burger Weeks that take place nationwide.

A list of participating restaurants and their featured burgers are regularly updated on the Restaurants page. The Santa Cruz Burger Week issue will be published in Good Times on Feb. 27.

The Burger Week concept is simple: Each participating restaurant may offer one or more specially priced burgers but will feature one at either $8, $10 or $12 that is an especially good value. It may be à la carte, or include sides, but the whole point of this event is that it’s an opportunity for local chefs to introduce a new burger or introduce more customers to their favorite or most popular burgers. Burgers may be beef, chicken, lamb, fish, portobello, vegetarian, vegan—or whatever a chef might invent. This is Santa Cruz, people!

Beyond the delicious dishes, this event shines a spotlight on the local food culture in Santa Cruz County, allowing restaurateurs and chefs to showcase their individuality and creative talents. Santa Cruz Burger Week is an opportunity for the restaurant community to promote itself as a group, for diners to try a new restaurant for the first time, or for guests to try new burgers at a favorite restaurant.
