Santa Cruz Restaurant Week Turns 10 With Oct. 10-17 Celebration

This fall, Santa Cruz Restaurant Week and Good Times are pleased to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Santa Cruz Restaurant Week – the tastiest week of the year! With more participating restaurants and cuisines than ever before, the community’s response to Santa Cruz Restaurant Week has grown considerably and the event has continued to gain enthusiasm and momentum.

Santa Cruz Restaurant Week will span eight nights, from October 10-17, 2018, and follow a model similar to other restaurant weeks across the country.

No vouchers are required to enjoy special fixed-priced, three-course menus at participating restaurants, which may select either a $25 or $35 per person price point (not including tax, gratuity or beverages). Menus include three options each for appetizer, entrée and dessert. Each restaurant will promote only one price point. (Regular menu items are also available.)

As always, the goal of Santa Cruz Restaurant Week’s 10-year celebration is shining a spotlight on local food culture in Santa Cruz County, allowing restaurateurs and chefs to showcase their favored ingredients and creativity. We hope you’ll consider the week an opportunity to try a new restaurant for the first time, or even try new dishes at a favorite restaurant. For the restaurant community, the event is a chance to work collectively to showcase the region’s increasingly diverse culinary offerings.

A list of participating restaurants with featured menus are continually updated on www.santacruzrestaurantweek.com. A Santa Cruz Restaurant Week Guide including a full list of menus will also be published in the Oct. 12 edition of Good Times.
